Self shielded fluxcore wire
We at Dyna Torque used self shielded wire many years ago. Actually we even helped Hobart Brothers (ITW) in development of self shielded fluxcore wire for automated welding systems. Self shielding wires today are much better and huge improvement from wires we tested years ago. Recently we did some welding trials for customer using latest of the wires available from Hobart in 2G fillet welding and had excellent welding results.
